Our Facilities

We have invested in updated MOT test equipment which has helped us streamline our MOT testing operation to ensure the fastest possible turn around of vehicles while fully complying with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) testing requirements.

We currently have 4 vehicle testing bays and a motorcycle testing bay. Our facilities enable us to test vehicles in the following classes:

  • Class I (Motorcycles engine size up to 200cc)
  • Class II (Motorcycles engine size 200cc and above)
  • Class III (3-wheeled vehicles up to 450kg unladen weight)
  • Class IV (Cars up to 8 passenger seats, motor caravans)
  • Class V(L) (Mini Buses with up to 17 seats inc driver)
  • Class VII (Goods Vehicles from 3000kg to 3500kg)

At Ashford MOT Centre you can be sure of getting a professional, unbiased test, as we don’t carry out any repairs.

Should your vehicle fail the test we can, however put you in touch with the right people to help.

There is a viewing area available for you to watch the MOT test being carried out. Alternatively there is a customer waiting area where vended hot drinks and snacks are available.
